About Brian Shaw
All of the images I have here have their origin in photographs I have taken over the years, whether they be from film or more recently from digital cameras.. For my film images, I scan them with a high quality film scanner at a resolution that matches the best quality DSLRs today. But high resolution isn't the objective in making any of my images. The images are the product of running the original files through software that generates vector images. The resulting images do not have the definition of the originals, but they do have a wonderful painterly feel to them. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
